
Police in Limassol were investigating an early morning bomb blast that caused extensive damage to the premises of a company.
Police said at around 4.20am, there was an explosion at the entrance of a company in Yermasoyia belonging to a 33-year-old foreign national.
From preliminary examinations, it was found that the explosion was caused by an improvised high-power explosive device, which had been placed in front of the main entrance.
The blast caused extensive damage, both to the entrance and the interior.
Futher investigations are being conducted.
