The third Spring Festival for adults and kids
The sun-filled last few days has many convinced wishing that the cold weather is over and spring is finally here. And with the arrival of a new, warmer month, new events and activities are on the horizon. One such takes place in Limassol this weekend and is all about family fun as the Spring Festival is filled with games and activities for old and young.
“Spring is nature’s way of saying ‘let’s party’ and we are getting ready to celebrate Spring at the Limassol National Forest Park,” say the organisers of the festival, Inspired Family Fun. On April 1-3, the Limassol National Forest Park, next to the Department of Road Transport, will be filled with fun activities and games for the most magical family moments. Kids and adults will plant flowers, decorate fairy houses, enjoy parrot shows, horse and pony rides, take photos at the flower swing and enjoy all the rides and activities in the lush green scenery of Limassol’s most beautiful park.
From 10am until 7pm each day, festival-goers will be able to enjoy an array of spring-related activities to welcome the new season and the new month and celebrate the long weekend. “Let’s have some fun at the bungee jumping trampolines, bumping boats, archery, funfair, dance at the fairy parties,” add the organisers, “and enjoy happy family moments in nature.”
