Two men were remanded in custody for six days in Limassol on Friday in connection with taking €147,000 from a woman for the sale of land that never materialised.
Police arrested the suspects, 54 and 59, after the woman reported that two years ago they had agreed to sell her two plots of land and taking €147,000.
The woman said the conditions of the agreement were never fulfilled. Police said they were seeking a third suspect, a 63-year-old man, in connection with the case.
He is wanted in connection with conspiracy to commit a felony and obtaining money under false pretences.
