
Two men were arrested early Wednesday, in Limassol after an air pistol, tools used for break-ins, cash and cannabis were found in their car, police said.
“Members of the police, while carrying out traffic checks early this
morning (Wednesday) intercepted a car being driven by a 27-year-old
with a 33-year-old passenger.”
“In a search carried out in the car, a screw driver, a crowbar, an air
pistol, three mobile phones, three watches and a hood were discovered
and taken as evidence.”
Police said a body search carried out on the 33-year-old revealed he
carrying around half a gramme of cannabis, while the other man was in
possession of €510 along with a small monetary amount in foreign
banknotes and a steel multi-tool.
Limassol CID said the two men were detained for questioning.
